The crisis fund began with providing food vouchers to families of children with cancer on treatment, struggling financially with day to day living costs.
We do this on referrals from CLIC Sargent social workers, either by sending a voucher to the ward or via email.
More recently, we have been providing essential household items such as tumble dryers and carpets, which are needed even more greatly when you have a child with a compromised immune system.
If you know a family of a child with cancer who can benefit from our crisis fund, please nominate them below. We will endeaver to contact you within 5 working days of receipt of the application form to let you know whether you have been successful.
'When I was told I could receive some ASDA Vouchers from The Isabel Baker Foundation I was thrilled, it is amazing to get this help and support when you're going through such a difficult time. The vouchers will be really helful in allowing me to do a grocery shop with a few added treats for my 12 year old son who has had Osteosarcoma. Support like this is greatly appreciated, the foundation is doing a fantastic job for families who may struggling with the simple chores of a weekly shop, when you are caring for you poorly child life changes dramatically so i am truly grateful, thank you.'
